BLUEBIRD CN7 AT BEAULIEU DECEMBER 2011

On Saturday 3rd December, Donald Stevens, Design Team Member and Project Co-Ordinator for the land speed record breaker, Bluebird CN7, will be the guest speaker at an evening hosted by the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.

Donald Stevens was the first employee of Norris Brothers Ltd. and worked on many of their innovative engineering solutions. He has given lectures on the design of Bluebird CN7 to engineering institutions countrywide. His talk at the National Motor Museum will include how the basic design was developed, the wind tunnel testing, method of construction, the runs and crash at Bonneville, and the real potential of CN7.

The evening, starting at 8.00pm, will be held in the Lecture Theatre of the National Motor Museum Collections Centre. A pay bar is available for the purchase of beers, wines, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Before, the Museum will open from 6.30pm for a private view.
